Strategy to Implementation

Stage 1 – Learning

In this stage we aim to learn as much as we can about all aspects of your operation.  It’s our induction to your business and this will help us in building the most effective business improvement plan for you.

Typically this involves a meeting with the primary decision maker and, where relevant key members of your extended team.

We also review your current sales and marketing programmes and materials.

This session will start to identify the specific areas you would like us to focus on.

Stage 2 – Company Analysis

In this stage, we dive deeper into your business to understand the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats your business faces. This is most commonly referred to as a SWOT analysis.

We investigate with you where the overall previous sales trends have formed and what has contributed to the performance of your business.

At the conclusion of this stage we will have a clear understanding of what strengths and opportunities there are to promote to the customer and what weaknesses and threats need to be defended against your competitors.

Stage 3 – Competitor Analysis

In this stage, we investigate your businesses competitive advantages/disadvantages relative to your competitors, we do this to generate an understanding of competitors’ past, present (and most importantly) future strategies.

The information discovered will provide an informed basis to develop strategies to achieve competitive advantage in the future and help forecast the returns that may be made from future investments.

Competitive Uncommon Offering. Once we have completed stage 1-4 we will have a very clear understanding of what your “uncommon offering” is.

An “uncommon offering” is the element that is unique to your businesses product or service.

This element is only revealed once strengths and weaknesses have been analysed, customer purchasing needs are discovered and where your advantage lies against your competitors.

Your competitive “uncommon offering” is what you will own and promote to differentiate yourself and attract customers to buy more of your products and services more often.

Stage 4 – Customer Analysis

In this stage we work with you to survey a range of customers – it’s an extended feedback session.

This is a very important exercise and identifies what the main buying triggers are for your product or service.

This stage helps us understand the most relevant way to communicate with your target market, and also provides immediate insight into other areas of your business that you may be able to improve, strengthen or change.

Stage 5 – Creative

To support your business development strategy our creative team, as required, works closely on the overall plan to ensure the “uncommon elements” are carefully carried through to your promotional materials and advertising assets.
